Our COVID Care Commitment to your Safety

Ensuring the health and wellbeing of our staff and guests is our most important priority.

The global outbreak of Covid-19 has had a significant impact on how we will travel, move, meet, and socialise. The health, safety and wellbeing of our guests, suppliers and local communities remains our number one priority and we have had to adapt to ensure our protocols meet these new requirements.

We know that the criteria for booking your next holiday is likely to have changed, and when choosing to stay with us, we can assure you that your priorities regarding social space, cleanliness, care, and enjoyment are also at the top of our priority list.

We take this responsibility very seriously and as such, have a set of measures designed for everyone’s comfort and safety, and to help put your mind at ease.

We have enhanced cleaning and sanitising protocols in line with government guidelines, using certified products from leading suppliers, our cleaning processes have been upgraded and rigorous sanitisation procedures continue to be carried out in the apartments, including public areas, and our space behind the scenes. You will find hand sanitisers for use on arrival and at various locations throughout the complex.

We look forward to extending a very warm welcome to you, soon.

Are there any changes to check-in or check-out?

Our check-in time has changed to 3pm to allow extra time for enhanced cleaning although our check-out time remains the same at 10am. However, we will try our best to accommodate early check-in requests to reduce wait times and accommodate travel schedules.

The key to your apartment will be left in the door for your arrival as we continue to consider the welfare of our staff by reducing contact.

We shall also be asking guests to complete a Pre-Arrival Check-In Questionnaire to ensure a seamless contactless arrival.

Prior to checking-out we now ask guests to leave the windows open to allow airing prior to our staff entering to make ready for our next guests.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Appropriate PPE will be worn by all staff and in adherence to any government or local regulations and guidance for cleaning.

It is anticipated that all social distancing and mask wearing will not be compulsory from 1st July 2021, although we do ask guests to respect other guests’ personal space.

Hand sanitisers will also be placed at key guest communal areas throughout the apartment complex.

What additional cleaning protocols are being introduced?

Each apartment will be sanitised using a fogging machine prior to your arrival, which ensures all hard-to-reach areas and soft furnishings are included.

Particular attention is paid to high-touch items including television remote controls, toilet seats and handles, door, and furniture handles, taps and kitchen surfaces, light switches, and alarm clocks.

What should I do if I have a problem?

We now ask guests to contact us by phone or text if they have a problem, which we hopefully will be able to resolve remotely.

Should we need access to the apartment for maintenance the visit will be arranged when guests are out of the property where possible (unless an emergency)

Will there still be a Welcome Book and Tourism leaflets in the apartment?

Our Digital Welcome Book includes all the information you need for your stay, including links to Places to See and Things to Do whilst in Guernsey. We encourage guests to load this onto their device for ease of reference.

We have consolidated our physical in-room welcome book, which is now laminated so easy to sanitise.

We have removed all leaflets from the apartment – although there is a selection available from the lobby.

Are there any changes to my apartment?

We shall now leave your weekly changeover laundry in a bag just inside the door of your apartment, rather than making up the beds for you. This ensures our staff reduce the need to come into the apartment during your stay. The laundry is supplied by our local laundry and washed at a high temperature in accordance with latest guidelines.

Extra pillows and blankets stored in the apartment wardrobes will be removed, but available on request.

Ornaments and non-essential loose items have been removed to reduce touch points.

Scatter cushions and throws in the bedrooms have now been removed.

All DVD’s and books which you could previously borrow have also been removed to reduce touch points, so please bring your own.

Do you still provide buckets and spades we can borrow to take to the beach?

Unfortunately, we have had to remove these this year so please bring these with you.

Can we still use the small putting area, table tennis and children’s’ play area?

These facilities will still be available for guests to enjoy.

We shall have sanitisers available for you to sanitise the putters, table tennis bats and children’s swings prior to use.

What cleaning protocols do you have in place for the pool area?

We sanitise the pool furniture daily with our sanitising fogging machine and ensure the area is clean and tidy.

Handrails are sanitised throughout the day for our guest’s safety.

Hand sanitiser is available around the pool area for guests use.

We have removed all pool toys from the area and ask guests to ensure items are not left around the pool if unattended.

The communal pool toilets are now closed, and we ask guests to use the facilities available in their apartment.

Our daily pool chlorine and water quality checks continue, ensuring our guests the best swimming pool experience.
