What to do in Guernsey

Relaxing on the beach, crabbing, golf, horse riding, cycling and walking holidays are just some of the favourite activities Guernsey people enjoy.  Why not have a beach BBQ and view the spectacular sunsets only seen on the West Coast of Guernsey, or try surfing at Vazon Bay and watch the experts ride the waves.

As Guernsey is only 9 miles long and 5 miles wide, the island is very easy to explore either by bus or car and without the traffic jams! Even better, walk or cycle along the ‘Ruette Tranquille’ lanes, where cyclists and pedestrians have priority.

L’Eree beach is only an 8 minute walk from Beau Vallon and is a sheltered sandy beach. It is great for crabbing in the rock pools as well as kayaking from the slipway. An ice-cream kiosk is open during the season by the beach.
