As Guernsey is only 9 miles long and 5 miles wide, the island is very easy to explore either by bus or car and without the traffic jams! Even better, walk or cycle along the ‘Ruette Tranquille’ lanes, where cyclists and pedestrians have priority.

The Castle has been guarding the harbour since the 13th century. Explore the battlements and enjoy the incredible views out towards the other islands. The castle boasts 5 Museums, 4 period gardens, a refectory and a shop which are all ready for you to discover.
L’Eree beach is only an 8 minute walk from Beau Vallon and is a sheltered sandy beach. It is great for crabbing in the rock pools as well as kayaking from the slipway. An ice-cream kiosk is open during the season by the beach.
